The National Organization of Black Women in Law Enforcement is a professional organization of African Americans in the law enforcement field. Through its Scholarship Program, NOBWLE seeks to assist female minority students, seeking higher education, reach their goal. Scholarships are awarded by the local hosting chapter during the conference. Scholarships are awarded in the amount up to $1000. Applications can be emailed or faxed upon request. The application process will open in January every year and close in June.

Candidates for a NOBWLE scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Have, minimally, grade point average of (3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale).
Be a graduating high school senior who has applied to one or more accredited colleges/universities.
Scholarship recipients - known as NOBWLE Scholars - are determined each June by the National Scholarship Committee. Recipients will receive written notification of their selection.
The Hosting Chapter of NOBWLE’s National Training Conference will award one or more scholarships in the amounts of $1000. National Awards are made to the students upon presentation of proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university.
